Ingredients

Jackfruit  : 25 pieces   
Milk  : 2 Litres
Jaggery : 1 kilo
Cardamom powder :  if needed

Method

Remove the seeds from the fruit pieces and cook them.
Grind the cooked fruit with jaggery.
In a heavy bottomed vessel cook the mixture again till there is no water content.
This is called chakkai veratti.
This can be stored in a fridge for 10 days and can be used when needed.
Boil milk in a vessel till it is reduced to half.
Add chakkai veratti, stir well.
When it is mixed well remove from stove.

P.S. Instead of milk, coconut milk can also be used.
Sugar can also be used. If it is coconut milk, it blends well only with jaggery.
Chakkai veratti is available  in some shops.
